In the earliest forms of history, the appearance of the pig-faced woman was due to witchcraft. After their wedding day, the husband of the pig-faced woman was given the choice: that his wife should look beautiful to him, but ugly to others, or ugly to him and beautiful to others. When the husband replied that the choice was not his, the enchantment was broken and the pig appearance on her disappeared. These stories became very popular particularly in England and later in Ireland.
Although the story began simultaneously in Norway, England and France, it was actually in England and then Ireland that the legend became widely known and accepted as true. In 1861 Charles Dickens remarked on the belief in the existence of a pig-faced woman in England, commenting that “in all ages, I suppose, there has always been a pig-faced woman.” In 1861 Charles Dickens remarked on the belief in the existence of a pig-faced woman in England, commenting that “in all ages, I suppose, there has always been a pig-faced woman.”[3
Although stories about humans with animal appearances always existed, prior to the 17th century there is no evidence in European histories of any where pig-faced humans were included (An 1829 article in The Journal of Science, Literature, and the Arts stated that the legend had been circulating in Paris since 1595, but offered no details or corroborating evidence).) Early versions of the story appeared simultaneously in England, Norway, and France, becoming relevant in England from late 1638. A 1904 article in Volkskunde magazine by a Dutch historian and antiquarian, Gerrit Jacob Boekenoogen, traced the earliest forms of the legend to 1639. The following pages present the results of an ethnographic research study on the role of botánicas in the Latin American population in New York City (NY). Botánicas, whose names are varied and include names such as spiritual and religious centers, are located mostly in the large metropolises of the United States. In NY they can be found in the Latino enclaves of Queens County, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Upper Manhattan (Washington Heights) and the United Nations of NY, as many call the borough of Jackson Heights in Queens.
The team also participated in religious activities, including Santeria toques and initiations, which took place in the basements and backyards of the botánicas, as well as in community centers and communal gardens where herbs and plants used to cure different types of ailments are grown. This diversity of spaces allowed the researchers to observe the day-to-day interactions that regularly take place between botanical suppliers and clients. The information gathered at these events allowed for the triangulation of data collected throughout the fieldwork process and subsequent analysis.

Gilgamesh ( ギルガガメッシュ, Girugamesshu?) is Tokiomi Tohsaka’s archer-class servant in Fate/Zero’s Fourth Holy Grail War, making a new contract with Kirei Kotomine that lasts until the start of Fate/stay night’s Fifth Holy Grail War. Gilgamesh is one of the servants summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru in the Grand Order of Fate/Grand Order.
The reason was that Gilgamesh was simply born with the conclusion already established; existing independently as a being neither fully divine nor fully human. He acquired the characteristics of both, so that his field of vision reached even further than the gods could comprehend. His overwhelming power engendered an isolation of the same nature, but his strength of self prevented him from abandoning his reign or fleeing from the mission imposed upon him. Revering the gods and loving mankind, Gilgamesh decided to follow his path to the end by deposing the gods and hating mankind.
